After graduating collage as an art major, the creative fires that I was once forced to fule every hour of every day had come to a abrupt halt. At first it was a breath of fresh air, but over time it turned into a feeling of loss. I believe as an artist it is crucial to never stop creating. In this instance, I went right back to the place I left, and did what I felt I needed to do. For this project I partnered with my boyfriend Alex Barnes, the artist who hand drew the shark teeth featured in these prints. The drawings were emulsed onto a screen and printed on to different surfaces. The mediums used in these pieces are screen print ink, paper, acrylic paint, dryer sheets, wood and canvas.
